Equestrian Vision, the leading producer and
distributor of equestrian DVDs in the UK, is pleased to announce that Frankel – The Official Story, will be available
on DVD from www.equestrianvision.co.uk
from the 26th November.
Pre orders are NOW being taken.
Relive the astonishing career of Frankel, the
greatest horse of all time, who won 14 times from 14 starts; a formidable
record that may never be equalled. Unbeaten
as a 2, 3 and 4 year old, including nine victories at Group One level,
Frankel’s perfect record speaks for itself. Named in memory of the great
American trainer Bobby Frankel, this ‘unbeatable’ horse is perhaps the greatest
to have lived.
Follow Frankel on his journey to stardom, from his
virtuoso performance in the 2000 Guineas that saw him romp home to win by a
staggering six lengths, to his defeat of Canford Cliffs in what was billed as
the “Duel of the Downs” at Glorious Goodwood, and not forgetting his majestic
11-length triumph at Royal Ascot in the Queen Anne Stakes that left those who
witnessed it speechless.
For what was widely expected to be Frankel’s last
run at Ascot, over 30,000 people turned out to watch history being made,
packing every inch of available space to get a glimpse of him. They were not to be disappointed as he
powered home easily. After the race it
was announced that Frankel would retire to stud.
This magnificent, unbeaten racehorse captured the
hearts of so many, attracting fans from an audience far wider than the regular
racing enthusiast.
Frankel – The Official Story is the definitive story of the horseracing
legend featuring interviews with trainer, Sir Henry Cecil and jockey Tom
Queally.
Duration 55 minutes with an RRP of £16.99.
